Ora sto leggendo la saga di Bartimeus sempre in inglese.

Io sto leggendo, tra le varie cose come al solito, un libro di Murakami che mi hanno prestato, mai letto niente di lui/lei lol Si chiama "La fine del mondo e il paese delle meraviglie". Molto particolare, inquietante e decisamente visionario, ma è scritto molto bene, mi piace. |

A me era piaciuto molto, sia per l'ambientazione che per la storia in sè, d'amore intenso e tormentato, con tanti riferimenti alla musica, quasi a voler ricreare una colonna sonora che accompagni il lettore per tutto il libro.
Non ho letto altro di Murakami e ora che ci penso, date le sensazioni che mi ha lasciato Tokio Blues, potrei decidere di comprare altri libri suoi. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finito "Non è un paese per vecchi" di McCarthy: mi aspettavo un libro diverso, ma mi è piaciuto.
Ho preferito La Strada, decisamente più originale.

Io ho appena finito TGS e quando torno dalle vacanze martedì mi fiondo a prendere ToM. il problema è che anche quello finirà in 2-3 giorni :S...dopo sono indeciso se finire i libri di Brooks (ne ho letti 15 se ben ricordo) oppure iniziare Mistborn. cosa consigliate? "Sarò accorto. Ma non credo che il tuo giocatore sia in grado di cogliermi alla sprovvista. Non dopo quanto ho passato qui. Sono sttato bersagliato dalle spie, assalito da rettili ed ermellini in via d'estinzione. Mi hanno fatto mangiare caviale inesistente. Delle ninfomani cui non piacciono gli uomini hanno messo in dubbio la mia virilità, hanno minacciato di violentarmi su un istrice, mi hanno terrorizzato con l'idea di una gravidanza, anzi perfino di un orgasmo, per giunta senza l'accompagnamento dei movimenti rituali. Brrr..." |

Si immaginavo :) è solo che Mistborn non ho idea di cosa parli...ammetto che ho scoperto Sanderson solo con TGS...(non scuoiatemi plz)...cmq si ho notato la differenza di scrittura Sanderson-Brooks in TGS "Sarò accorto.
