la scena è questa:
Elayne e Nyn si scusano con Mat anche se con molta ritrosia.
Nyn gli dice che può passare la mattinata a trasferirsi a palazzo,
visto che è in condizioni pietose (dovute alla sbronza).
Mat risponde con piglio incazzoso che la "Donna Errante" va bene e fa
per continuare, ma a quel punto gli compare una espressione meravigliata
e terrozzata in volto. I dadi si sono fermati.
Poi mentre Mat sconvolto ragiona sul fatto, Nyn e Elayne continuano
la loro tiritera finendo con un ""Dobbiamo tutti fare dei sacrifici"
Mat replica ironico, ma non torna sulla questione trasferimento.
