Ho trovato il capitolo grandioso. Egwene ha sempre più sotto controllo la situazione e i semi del dubbio che ha disseminato iniziano a farsi strada all'interno della torre. Anche tra le rosse il dubbio serpeggia. Basti vedere come Barasine inizia a cogliere il significato delle parole di Egwene, e la stessa Silviana è sempre più attenta alla sua "speciale" novizia.
Egwene ha inoltre capito come "abbracciare il dolore" per davvero: paragonare il dolore procurato dalle punizioni a quello che le da vedere la torre spezzata e le Aes Sedai divise e sospettose l'una nei confronti dell'altra. Rand non deve affrontare 'banale' dolore fisico... almeno non solo quello e non punizioni che per quanto continue sono limitate...
'facile' abbracciare il dolore così... Non nego i successi di Egwene che sono cmq. ammirevoli, e anche a me è piaciuto come affronta la situazione nella torre bianca... anche se è giusto dire che molte aes sedai paiono assai instupidite e incancrenite nelle loro tradizioni...
Egwene è un Aes Sedai che pensa, e pensa bene, ma rimane Aes Sedai con tutti i difetti congeniti.
Concordo con Swami sull'asininità, e con Semi a riguardo dell'arroganza...
