nononononono! non hai capito! E' pazzo si! Pazzia mica vuol dire solo andare in giro nudo e dire castronerie... Certo Rand ha una bella testa, ragiona, è intelligente... ...ma quello sente le voci, ha attacchi d'ira, e di una paranoia assoluta in alcuni momenti. Dubita dei suoi stessi amici d'infanzia in alcune occasioni.
La bellezza di Rand come personaggio è proprio l'estrema drammaticità della sua condizione psico/fisica, il suo sacrificio non sarà solo
“Il suo sangue sulle rocce di Shayol Ghul, laverà via l'Ombra. Sacrificio per la salvezza dell'Umanità.”... Alla vita ha già rinunciato, e sapendo che deve morire ha rinunciato anche a se stesso!
Il suo sacrificio è ora, ha distrutto la sua dignità, la sua personalità, da gentile ragazzo di campagna è diventato un tiranno guerrafondaio (in risposta agli attacchi dell'ombra ovviamente...), non uccidere donne, ripeto, è l'ultimo baluardo del Rand pastore.
Certo, forse è una spirale senza uscita... ma i pressupposti son quelli!
