Lo scontro tra Galad e Demandred.

"Too close to do a full swing, Galad raised his sword and bashed it - pommel first - at Demandred's face. Demandred caught Galad's hadn with his, but Galad grabbed Demandred by the helmet, holding tightly, trying to force the helmet down over the Forsaken's eyes. He grunted, both men locked, neither moving.
Then, with a sickening sound Galad heard quite distinctly, his muscle ripped in the arm where he'd been cut. His sword slipped from numb fingers, his arm spasming, and Demandred threw him backward and stuck with a flash of blade.
Galad fell to his knees. His right arm - severed at the elbow by Demandred's slice - flopped to the ground in front of him. Demandred stepped back, panting. He had been worried. Good. Galad held to his bleeding stump, then spat at Demandred's feet.
Demandred snorted, then swung his blade once more.
All went black.
La traduzione (pagina 938)
"Troppo vicino per un fendente completo, Galad sollevò la sua spada a la abbattè - pomello in avanti - contro la faccia di Demandred. Demandred prese la mano di Galad con la sua ma Galad lo afferò per l'elmo, tenendolo stretto e cercando di calarlo sugli occhi del Reietto. Quello grugnì, ed entrambi rimasero bloccati, nessuno si muoveva.
Poi, con un suono nauseante che Galad udì in modo assai distinto, il suo muscolo di strappò nel braccio dove era stato ferito. La (sua) spada gli scivolò da dita insensibili, il braccio venne colto da spasmi, e Demandred lo spinse all'indietro e colpì con un guizzo della lama.
Galad caddè in ginocchio. Il suo braccio destro - mozzato al gomito dall'affondo di Demandred - si abbattè al suolo davanti a lui. Demandred fece un passo indietro, ansimando. Bene. Galad resse il suo moncone sanguinante, poi sputò ai piedi di Demandred.
Demandred sbuffò, poi vibrò ancora una volta la lama.
Tutto divenne nero.
Poi nella parte in cui Berelain vede Galad ferito, è lei stessa che parla di ferita orribile al volto.
Edit: la parte in grassetto è quella che manca nella traduzione italiana. L'ho aggiunta poi per chiarire.
