    Quando Rand incontra Min per la prima volta a Baerlon essa gli dice che vede come immagine intorno a Mat un occhio su un piatto.
    Quando poi Mat usa di nascosto il ter'angreal nascosto nella pietra di Tear gli viene detto che dovrà "rinunciare alla metà della luce del mondo per salvarlo" Perderà dunque un occhio o accadrà qualcos'altro[SM=x494546] ?

    l'idea della perdita dell'occhio è diffusa. Avrebbe anche dei rinvii alla figura di odino.
