Ecco i sogni del capitolo tradotti
proviamo ad interpretarli:
- In un ampia camera Gawyn cammina verso Egwene a piedi nudi su vetri rotti lasciando una scia di sangue.
- Egwene ferma ad un bivio di una strada. Gawyn si avvicina cavalcando senza vederla. Una strada porta a una morte violenta, l'altra, una lunga vita.
Seguendo una strada si sposeranno, l'altra no. Gawyn sorride e sceglie.
- Egwene ferma dinnanzi a delle immense mura nel tantativo di abbatterle. Sono fatte di dischi neri e bianchi. Lei non può abbatterle.
- Mat guarda dei fuochi degli Illuminatori. Ne afferra uno dall'aria e frecce di fuoco partono dal suo pugno. Uomini moriranno per questo.
- Egwene legata ad un ceppo mentre un boia si prepara. Altrove, qualcuno sta correndo e se saranno veloci abbastanza l'ascia si fermerà.
- Logain, ridendo, scavalca qualcosa posto su di una pietra nera. Sembra il corpo di Rand, ma quando tocca la sua faccia si rompe come un burattino di carta.
- Un falco femmina dorato la tocca e saranno legate assieme.
- Un uomo morente su un letto stretto. E' importante che non sia morto, ma una pira funebre è pronta.
- Un giovane bruno/scuro (dark può essere inteso sia di capelli che di pelle) tiene in mano un oggetto che splende intensamente.
