    Ho iniziato ieri questo libro regalatomi dalla Mia Poderosa Consortessa. Si lega al filone dei nuovi romanzi fantasy che capovolgono i punti di vista tradizionali. Da quello che ho capito dal poco che ho letto, in questo caso specifico il pdv utilizzato è quello dei nani. L'idea originale però sta anche e soprattutto nel fatto che i nani hanno peculiari caratteristiche, quali quelladi essere la razza a guardia delle terre in questione. Vediamo come si sviluppa la cosa. Al momento spero soprattutto che non diventino delle caricature nane degli elfi. Vi faccio sapere mano a mano che procedo

    Letto,letto e ancora letto. Mi è piaciuto tantissimo e non vedo l'ora di leggere il secondo (in tutto sono tre). Finalmente i nani vengono valorizzati come meritano e gli elfi fanno la figura che è giusto che facciano. [SM=x494523]

    Per adesso mi sta piacendo tanto...sono circa ad un quarto.
    Il fatto che il protagonista sia un nano inizialmente non mi entusiasmava invece ho dovuto ricredermi... [SM=x494535] [SM=x494535]

    Devo dire che mi è piaciuto...non si può definire un capolavoro fantasy ma il mio giudizio è positivo...sono davvero riuscita ad affezionarmi ai nani (come mai mi era accaduto prima)...leggetelo!!!!

    finito. Secondo me è da leggere. Certo, la trama non è il top dell'originalità, molti eventi sono spogliati del pathos che si meriterebbero, ma nel complesso il libro è interessante. Questo grazie alla ricostruzione sociologica della società dei nani operata dall'autore, che finalmente offre un romanzo in cui i nani non sono solo accessori pittoreschi, ma sono, mantenendo le loro caratteristiche goliardiche, il motore di tutte le vicende. Parallelamente, altre razze che di norma vengona magnificate (elfi ed umani) svolgono un ruolo subalterno. In più L'autore spesso calca la mano sui loro difetti. Il bello è che tutto è plausibile e non risulta parodico.
    In più, e questo è un grande merito, il romanzo è assolutamente autoconclusivo. Insomma, compratelo.

    E che prezzo ti aspettavi dalla Mondadori per una edizione rilegata con sovracopertina?
    Cmq il libro mi è piaciuto molto.
    Finalmente i Nani spezzano le reni a quelle "checche" di Elfi dimostrando come si combatte e si vive.

    Bhe a me questo libro è piaciuto proprio tanto.

    Lo trovo veramente piacevole e scritto molto bene.

    Il secondo volume della saga si intitolerà "La guerra dei nani" e dovrebbe uscire a Marzo.

    Non vedo l'ora di trovarlo in libreria [SM=x494549]

    Io l'ho preso, e sono molto curiosa di leggerlo.
    Certo, quando lessi sulla rivista "Il Libraio" la trama di questo libro pensai che non fosse niente di particolarmente innovativo, ecco... ma il fatto che protagonisti fossero i Nani mi ispirava comunque.
    Credo che lo leggerò presto, sono proprio curiosa! [SM=x494535]
