    Navigando oziosamente sul web alla ricerca di appagare la mia sete di conoscenza del mondo di WOT, mi sono soffermato sulla definizione che wikipedia da riguardo "La Ruota del Tempo" http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_ruota_del_tempo
    [SM=x494527] Arrivo al punto:...esiste un gioco di ruolo, pubblicato nel 2001 da Wizards of the Coast basato sul regolamento D20 System.
    Qualcuno sa darmi qualche notizia in più? [SM=x494553]
    In più il sito afferma anche che esiste un altro gioco popolare basato su WoT dal nome WoTMUD, un MUD (Multi-User Dungeon) nato nei primi anni 90. [SM=x494553]

    Il manuale in questione mi fu regalato quest'anno da cari amici consapevoli della mia totale assuefazione a RJ...è fatto bene, le classi sono ben studiate...l'uso del potere è un po' limitato, però purtroppo lasciare la libertà d'azione prevista nei libri avrebbe comportato una complicazione abissale del sistema...secondo me lo trovi da qualche parte nella rete....ah, è ovviamente uscito solo in inglese...

    volendo si potrebbe creare in D&D un'ambientazione da WOT, con classi e usoi del potere (la comunissima magia); bisognerebbe trovare però un master che modifichi un pò le classi già esistenti e anche aggiunga nuovi incantesimi o cambi nome a quelli già esistenti [SM=x494583]

    speriamo che abbia successo, così magari lo commercializzano anche quì da noi!!!

    però a mio avviso dovrebbe essere un gioco fedelissimo alla storia all'ambientazione e a tutto ciò che RJ ha scritto..sarebbe fantastico!

    La Wizard ha già usato il sistema D20 ( [SM=x494566] ) per WOT... a mio parere non si adatta per niente...

    ciononostante bisogna riconoscere che hanno fatto il meglio possibile come manuale.

    Con diverse illustrazioni notevoli.

    il d20 system e un sistema basato sul lancio del dado a venti facce: ora ti spiego. in d&d moplti avvenimenti vengono decisi in base al risultato del tiro del d20. questa ovviamente e solo una spiegazione molto semplicistica; se vuoi ti puoi comprare il manuale del giocatore dove tutto e psiegato meglio [SM=x494543]

    puoi scaricare LEGALMENTE il sistema d20 (3.0) e farti un idea...

    non è i migliore dei sistemi e mal si adegua ad un ambientazione come
    quella di WOT in cui la magia è appannaggio di pochi, ed è molto
    malleabile negli effetti. Inoltre nel sistema di WOT hanno apportato
    notevoli modifiche. Il manuale d20 di wot è stand-alone ovvero
    contiente tutte le regole necessarie.

    Ehm... se spulci in quella pagina di wikipedia vedrai l'autore del testo... fui stato io!

    Il gioco di ruolo ce l'ho (ho anche la campagna autografata da uno degli illustratori), è carino (ci abbiamo giocato e ci torneremo presto), certo hanno sacrificato la magia rispetto ai libri ma con quel regolamento tutto cappa e spada powerplay non si poteva fare di meglio. Però è fico poter giocare nel mondo di [SM=x494609] ...

    quello basato dil d20 system? Beh, se intendi in rapporto al D20 system stesso, è abbastanza buono, certo stona un po' perchè il sistema non è adattissimo a gestire la magia come Jordan l'ha pensata, però pensavo molto peggio... devi avere un buon Master che sappia gestire la magia in modo oculato, e giocatori che amino più La Ruota del Tempo che D&D...
