    Concordo in linea di principio ma la carne è debole, e quindi mi sono letto il prologo almeno :D Per i capitoli invece aspetto di averlo completo, sennò mi sale troppo la scimmia [SM=x494540]

    La tor comincia da oggi ad offrire piccoli frammenti di "anteprime" di AMOL, fino al giorno del rilascio. Si parla di citazioni, titoli di capitoli, frasi di "anticipazione" tratte dal volume finale. La press release originale è la seguente:

    Io penso che invece di far uscire prologhi, primi capitoli, frammenti e titoli a questo punto avrebbero potuto far uscire il libro già a Dicembre se non addirittura a Novembre. So che questa è una strategia di marketing naturalmente per far crescere l'attesa e aumentare le vendite tuttavia ora forse stanno esagerando, così uno rischia di rovinarsi la lettura con tutte questi pezzettini spifferati.     non sono così sicuro che siano solo trovate commerciali... tra l'altro solo il prologo è a pagamento... Altrimenti l'avrebbero messo per natale per farlo regalare invece che a Gennaio.

    Devo dire che concordo, infatti pur avendo riportato la notizia non mi sono iscritto.

    Mi consolo pensando che evidentemente non potevano fare altrimenti, non esiste che un editore si lasci scappare il periodo più renumerativo dell'anno (Natale) se può evitarlo, sarebbe puro masochismo economico.

    Io ho inteso trovate commerciali come pubblicitarie. Cercano di aumentare il più possibile l'attesa per massimizzare le vendite. Con diversi estratti l'attenzione è sempre alta e nessuno si stanca grazie ai piccoli richiami, proprio in virtù dell'uscita ritardata a Gennaio.

    Sono d'accordo. Nonostante sono tra quelli che non hanno saputo resistere alla lettura del prologo e del primo capitolo, leggere un estratto al giorno mi da l'idea di rovinarmi il sapore quando poi potrò leggere il volume per intero, in quanto sarà costellato di frasi, presumo anche belle, che avendo già letto mi leveranno la "magia". Avrei preferito che a questo punto, con tutto questo tempo sprecato, avessero deciso di anticipare la pubblicazione magari solo di un mese, tanto per farci un bel regalo di Natale!!

    Che poi non capisco neanche che necessità ci sia di generare attesa/interesse per il 14esimo volume di una saga. Cioè... chi ha letto gli altri 13 lo compr comunque, che sia pubblicizzato o no, se non voleva sapere come va a finire non avrebbe "retto" fino al 13. Chi non ha letto i precedenti d'altro canto dubito che cominci a leggere dall'ultimo, che senso ha?

    Non iniziano dall'ultimo, vero. Ma possono recuperare tutta la serie.

    Could this be the little fat man angreal? Maybe some other angreal or ter'angreal?

    Or...I remember back in Shadow Rising Lanfear mentioned TWO sa'angreals stronger than Callandor that a male could use. The Chodean kal was one, obviously, but I don't think we've ever seen mention of another. Rand's channeling at Maradon was so powerful it seems like a sa'angreal could have been used. It seems like too many weaves at once to be just the result of his epiphany.

    Potrebbe. Qualsiasi cosa fosse è passato inosservato, che fosse una spada tenuta nel fodero lungo il fianco oppure un oggetto molto piccolo, forse rileggendo il passaggio su Maradon potremmo cogliere qualcos'altro. Ma perché era importante che nessuno sapesse di questo oggetto x? [SM=x494583]
