    Volevo informarvi che Waterstones mi ha appena annullato l'ordine per TGS in paperback, poiché mi ha comunicato che la casa editrice non pubblicherà più la versione con la copertina morbida, ma solo quella con la copertina rigida (almeno per il momento).

    Io ho ordinato l'edizione a copertina morbida da The Book Depository, data di uscita 5 novembre (sob! manca ancora un secolo! [SM=x494552]).
    Ho fatto l'ordine lunedì scorso e non mi hanno fatto problemi per la disponibilità. E spero che non ne facciano... [SM=x494575]

    Fino a ieri, c'era il pulsante "Pre-Order", con sopra scritto "9 days to go".
    Ora sono andata a controllare sul sito: nella pagina del mio ordine c'è scritto "ITEM STATUS: AWAITING PUBLICATION", mentre nella pagina del paperback c'è scritto "OUT OF STOCK"!
    Spero che sia esaurito solo per il grande numero di ordini che hanno ricevuto. Quello in hardcover risulta disponibile, e da oggi.
    Ho scritto all'assistenza clienti per avere notizie. Se scopro che la versione in paperback (che ho già pagato, peraltro) non è disponibile, giuro che li insulto, vocabolario alla mano. [SM=x494562]

    Io comunque spero che, semplicemente, abbiano già venduto tutte le loro copie del paperback. Ti farò sapere.

    per chi vuole, su Itunes si può scaricare l'audiobook a ca. 35 € ...sono stato MOOLtO tentanto, ma alla fine attenderò l'arrivo della copia che avevo ordinato e che mi dovrebbe arrivare la prima settimana di novembre

    Allora come ti ho spiegato almeno Waterstones... l'edizione economica l'ha avuta disponibile fino all'8 ottobre, poi è sparita ed è riapparsa qualche giorno fa, recando come data quella del 7 ottobre 2010. Adesso non so te, però sempre dove lì, l'hardback l'ho pagato a 12 pound più le spese di spedizione. Mi pare che da listino sta sui 20 pund...magari ti conviene (te lo dico nel caso non volessi aspettare che ho già ordinato altri libri e sono arrivati entro 4-5 giorni lavorativi). [SM=x494603]

    Mi sono informata. L'edizione che uscirà l'ottobre 2010 è il paperback da 7-8 sterline; mentre ora sono uscite sia l'edizione hardcover (20 sterline circa) sia quella trade paperback (15 sterline circa).

    Ho scritto direttamente alla casa editrice, fonte di tutti i miei guai, e la risposta è stata questa:

    The trade paperback edition is only available in certain export territories and The Book Depository are not allowed to supply it to their customers. You will need to order the HB ISBN 9781841491653.

    Proprio per evitare casini, il 24 ho cambiato l'ordine: dall'edizione paperback ho preso quella hardcover (che dava già disponibile)..verso la fine della prossima settimana dovrebbe essere tra le mie manine [SM=x494576]

    che l'Amazon vada a farsi fottere!!! mi hanno comunicato che anziché consegnarmelo tra il 2 e il 4 novembre, per problemi vari la consegna andava a finire tra il 23 e il 30 novembre!!! ho subito annullato l'ordine...

    poi ho provato a telefonare alla feltrinelli di milano: gli è arrivato proprio oggi e lo metteranno in vendita da domani!!! mi sono fatto subito mettere da parte una copia!!!
