    Mi è sorta una curiosità.. questa magnifica e fatale arma, ce l'ha un nome? Non so, tipo Callandor, Excalibur.. per citarne alcuni!

    No perchè vista la sua importanza nel cordo della storia, non sarebbe strano. Eppure io non mi ricordo di averlo mai sentito chiamare per nome..

    No, non ha nessun nome.

    In fondo non è un arma 'magica' forgiata apposta per essere tale.
    E' "solo" un bel pugnale ingioiellato che ha assorbito la maledizione di Mordeth/Shadar Logoth.

    A proposito di questo avrei un' ipotesi da proporre:

    Visto che Rand ha distrutto Shadar Logoth per eliminare la contaminazione del T da Saidin, non è che il pugnale non è più contaminato? Oppure è ancora contaminato perché lo tiene Fain?

    è contaminato di per se', il pugnale si è portato appresso la contaminazione che c'era in lui e finché anche esso non verrà distrutto, sarà un pericolo

    come ha spiegato Moiraine sin dai primi libri, la cosa peggiore è che il pugnale potrà far ricominciare tutta la contaminazione da capo, cioè potrà espandersi e creare di nuovo una città fantasma come Shadar Logoth, anzi... visto che Fain se lo sta portando di qua e di là, c'è addirittura il rischio che la contaminazione potrà ricominciare ad espandersi su vasta scala, partendo in contemporanea da più luoghi diversi già contaminati...

    insomma... un vero disastro che sia le forze della luce, che quelle dell'ombra dovrebbero impegnarsi a prevenire... e in questo mi pare che quelle dell'ombra si siano impegnate di più...

    penso anch'io,

    dubito che riescano a farlo fuori prima e, vista l' "utilità" di quel suo male, rispetto a quello del tenebroso come mostrato in un certo episodio alla fine del IX, può darsi che esso sia l'ingrediente finale necessario ad imprigionare x bene di nuovo shaitan senza che lasci in giro residui che contaminano l'unico potere...
