Even riferisce che Weilen ha promesso ad Even che Logain si e’ incontrato con Mazrim Taim, ed ha appianato le loro divergenze e domani sara’ alla Torre Nera per confermarlo. Even e’ disperato e dice ad Androl che ormai devono ammettere che Logain e’ stato preso. Attraverso il doppio legame, Pevara sente l’orrore provato da Androl, che rispecchia quello provato da lei.
