Forse Asmo doveva rimanere morto ucciso da Rahvin. Oppure Rahvin in passato ha fatto qualcosa che aveva salvato la vita ad Asmo, magari anche indirettamente, del resto non sappiamo bene quanto disegno ha bruciato la balefirata di Rand.
