Ciao a tutti,
come ben sapete è uscito il volume n.1 de "L'occhio del mondo" pubblicato dalla Dabel Brothers e disegnato non dai precedenti Mike Miller e Tolibao (quelli di NS e del vol.0)ma da Chase Conley.
Non so voi, ma io, Mary e Amy siamo rimaste scioccate dai disegni di qualità nettamente inferiore e abbiamo pensato di scrivere una lettera alla produzione, accompagnata da una raccolta firme, per far notare il nostro disappunto.
Ovviamente tre persone da sole non ottengono nulla, quindi siamo qui a chiedere se, primo, possiamo parlare a nome del forum italiano (e magari chiedere anche agli utenti americani/inglesi); secondo, se ovviamente firmereste anche voi la petizione.
Visto che siamo noi a comprare e dare dei soldi a loro, direi che il minimo che possiamo chiedere è di avere dei disegnatori decenti che soddisfino le nostre aspettative.
Qui di seguito vi riporto due possibili lettere che io e Mary abbiamo buttato giù in due minuti.

Questa è la lettera di Mary:

Dear Sir/Madame,
I’m writing as representative of Jordan Italian Fans in order to complain about the last comic from wheel of time first novel ‘The eye of the world’ by Chase Conley.

On one hand I have to remark New Spring comics (especially M.Miller’s ones, but also H.Tolibao’s ones) are drawn and coloured in a really wonderful way.
And also ‘The eye of the world’ prologue comic was made with the same competence.

On the other hand, unfortunately, Mr. C. Conley did a very poor work with this number 1, in fact the strips look like not only uncolorful but also bad-drawn.

E.g. Moiraine character deserves our blame: in the picture where she is talking with Ewin, Mat and Rand in order to give a silver mark to each one of them, she looks like the village idiot, instead she should be the most sparkling woman they have ever seen.

We are faithful the next comics will be as beautiful as New Springs and the prologue ones.

I’m writing as representative of the “Wheel of Time Italian Forum” in order to complain about the last comic of the mentioned saga.
We noticed that the strips of the previous issue and the “New Spring” comics are drew in a different and better way by M. Miller and H.Tolibao,
On the contrary, Chase Conley did a very poor work with this number 1, in fact the strips look like not only not full-coloured but also bad-drawn.
For instance, Moiraine character deserves our blame: in the picture where she is talking with Ewin, Mat and Rand in order to give a silver mark to each one of them, she looks like the village idiot, instead she should be the most sparkling woman they have ever seen.
The smile she has is not what we expected, since she is a powerful Aes Sedai she cannot have that mother-like smile on her face, it should be cold!
And then Mat character seems a young boy of the 90s with that haircut.
These are just few examples but in general we are all agree saying we preferred the old drawers, Mike Miller above all.
We have signed this petition in order to ask you to change your mind on Chase Conley and think about to hire again Mike Miller, that every “Wheel of Time” fan appreciate.
Faithful the next comics will be as beautiful as New Springs and the prologue ones.
