The lions and the hills take flight.
The moon by day, and the sun by night.
Blind woman, deaf man jackdaw fool.
Let the Lord of Chaos rule.
We rode on the winds of the rising storm,
We ran to the sounds of the thunder,
We danced among the lightning bolts,
and tore the world asunder.

Crossroads of Twilight,cap 12 "A bargain":

""I call a question before the Hall," she said in a loud, firm voice. "Who will stand to declare war against the usurper Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan?""

eccone alcune dai primi capitoli di "The Path of Daggers"
Peel the apple in your hand, girl, not the one on the tree (Pela la mela che hai in mano, ragazza, non quella (ancora) sull'albero)
Tears are for after; they just waste time before (le lacrime sono per il dopo; prima sono solo una perdita di tempo)
When a woman plays the fool, look for the man (quando una donna fa la stupida, cerca l'uomo)
Kittens tangle your yarn, men tangle your wits, and it's simple as breathing for both (i gattini ti aggrovigliano il filo, gli uomini ti aggrovigliano il buon senso, e per entrambi è facile come respirare)
It's one of the things men are for, taking the blame. They usually deserve it, even if you don't know ecxactly how!

You can never know everything,
and part of what you know is always wrong.
Perhaps even the most important part.
A portion of wisdom lies in knowing that.
A portion of courage lies in going on anyways.

Mica male come presentazione...
"Non voleva venire con me all'inizio" spiegò Lini.

The amazing thing is that every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand.
It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust.
You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution - weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way they could get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode.
So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today.
