Grazie per la considerazione, anche se l'ultima volta che ho visto il rappresentante in questione mi ha detto che non intendere più rispondere ad una mia domanda relativa a Martin 8 (e temo proprio che il titolo sarà "Il dominio di re Cersei"). Erikson per ora mi pare abbastanza ben tradotto, non perfetto,
visto che si notano certe brutture. Ma tuttosommato accettabili.

Io sto già facendo una gran fatica a leggermi Jordan in originale (e lo faccio per cause di forsa maggiore...) ma visto che Martin uscirà tra poco, titolo o non titolo, lo comprerò...
Mi piacerebbe conoscere bene la lingua tanto da accorgermi di cattive traduzioni...per ora non è possibile...

Già finito da quasi 3 settimane ormai.
E' bello al pari degli altri, ma un pò diverso come tono.
Mi aspettavo carneficine, invece è più tranquillo.
Ho male interpretato il titolo, la festa dei corvi è subito, ovvero
i corvi pasteggiano sulla terra martoriato e costellata di cadaveri.
Ma non ci sono particolari combattimenti.
Martin approfondisce alcuni personaggi solitamente visti dall'esterno,
descrive zone nuove, le isole di ferro, le terre dei dorniani, ed altre
zone "esotiche" diciamo.
C'è molta meno azione, è molto ponderato, descrittivo. Più sullo stile Jordan
C'è anche una chicca per chi la sa cogliere.

Non è tanto la pubblicità che inseguo (fa sempre comodo però) ma il riconoscimento!
Tra cotanto senno è necessaria la presenza di Jordan, lo prendo come un affronto la sua mancanza.
