You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution - weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way they could get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode.
So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today.

Ho letto un sacco di nomi e di Sage che non ho la più pallida idea da dove saltino fuori! ![[SM=x494544]](http://laruotadeltempo.altervista.org/_altervista_ht/wot_forum/smilini/eek.gif)
Comunque credo che inizierò (appena la lettura di Wot me lo permetterà!) qualche altra Saga. Vedrò quale degli autori è il più amato e leggerò di conseguenza.
Per ora non esprimo le mie preferenze sugli autori che adoro leggere, ma consiglio vivamente a tutti "La Torre Nera" di Stephen King, un fantasy-western davvero spettacolare!!! Sono 7 volumi in tutto, e tutti già pubblicati in Italia (ALLELUJA!!!). |

1) Tolkien pari merito con Asimov(sempre e cmq),
2) Bruno Tognolini (Lilim del tramonto, Salani; leggetelo),
3) S. King,
4) Gemmel,
5) Turtledove,
6) Goodkind,
7) Melvile (settimo solo perchè ha pubblicato ancora poco),
gli altri bene o male tutti alla pari a parte Brooks che con Shannara mi ha veramente scassato....
Lo so, non ho messo nè Martin nè Jordan ma prima voglio vedere dove vanno a parare le saghe; sicuramente per ora sono parimerito sparpagiati nei primi 5.

La mia classifica:
1) Tolkien (dovuto omaggio al "Creatore")
2) Jordan (WOT)
3) Goodkind (La spada della verità)
4) Eddings (Belgariad e Mallorean)
5) Cecilia Dart-Thorton (La Trilogia di Bitterbynde - per ora tradotti solo i primi due)
6) Robin Hobb (Trilogia dei Lungavista)
7) Terry Brooks (tutti, tranne il primo del ciclo di Shannara che sembra una scopiazzatura di Tolkien)
8) Weis & Hickman (Dragonlance)
9) Tad Williams
10)Turtledove (che avrei messo nei primi 5 per la saga della legione e che ho retroCESSO dopo aver letto l'orribile saga "La guerra dei Regni")
Mi riservo di modificare la classifica dopo che avrò letto qualcosa di più Martin, Gemmel, Pratchett e Salvatore.
