non trovo più in quale discussione avevo scritto a proposito di Naeff, il nuovo personaggio, l'Asha'man che compare così spesso in questo XII volume... fatto sta che Brandon Sanderson, mi ha risposto su di lui dopo ben 6 mesi:

I'm glad you liked THE GATHERING STORM. I put a lot of work into it, but I was still worried I wouldn't be able to do it justice. A great deal of the success of the book comes from the excellent notes that Robert Jordan left behind and the strength of the series up to this point-the depth of the worldbuilding and the characters. I do appreciate hearing that I'm on the right course. I hope I can make the next two books turn out as well.
You have some good theories about Naeff; unfortunately, I cannot tell you if you are right or wrong. Instead I'm afraid I must tell you: read and find out.
I'm interested to hear you are from Italy; I've always wanted to visit Italy and hope that maybe, someday soon, my books will give me an excuse. I hear wonderful things about your country.

tutta la mia curiosità era nata perché 1) questo Naeff compare così dal nulla in questo libro, e già subito ha la completa fiducia di Rand (molto strano...) e poi nel capitolo 31 si scopre che 2)
è stato legato da una Aes Sedai (
non viceversa e quindi non farebbe parte del gruppo di Logain e di quelli che hanno legato le sorelle guidate da Toveine)
i casi erano: A) un errore di scrittura, era Naeff ad aver legato lei, come Logain e Co. oppure B) Naeff faceva parte di quegli Asha'man legati dalle Aes Sedai ribelli secondo i patti stabiliti con Rand (ma queste che fine hanno fatto?? un capitolo che dovremo leggere negli ultimi libri... ho dei timori) C) un Asha'man legato da una Aes Sedai al di fuori dei patti...
io credo che se fosse stato semplicemente il caso A, Sanderson non mi avrebbe scritto RAFO... il caso C mi pare un po' improbabile... il caso B vorrebbe dire che non tutte le sorelle sono finite male alla Torre Nera....
