Buondì,scusate se vi disturbo,ma vorrei sapere se potevate aiutarmi a chiarire due dubbi che mi mi sono venuti al termine della lettura dell'epilogo del Signore del caos:

Rileggendo però la fine de I Fuochi del Cielo ho notato che quando Rand irrompe a Caemlyn per sconfiggere Rahvin,il reietto colpisce i suoi amici(compreso Mat)con saidin prima che il drago rinato lo uccida col fuoco malefico. ("...Gli stivali di Mat si trovavano a una dozzina di passi da lui,che era disteso sul dorso.Fili di fumo salivano dall'asta nera della sua lancia,dalla giubba e dal medaglione d'argento con la testa di volpe che pendeva fuori dalla camicia e che non lo aveva protetto da un uomo che incanalava...")
Quindi ora la mia domanda è:che cosa è in grado di incanalare Halima?

Riguardo Mat avevo interpretato diversamente la cosa.
Ovvero sono pressochè certo che sia stata Halima a incanalare contro Mat ma non ha sortito effetto.
Per quel che riguarda il quinto libro gli attacchi di Ravhin non erano diretti a Mat ma aveva creato qualcosa che lo colpisse, nello specifico non un flusso diretto verso di lui ma ha genereato un fenomeno atmosferico reale ovvero fulmini. Per spiegarmi meglio faccio un altro esempio, quando Rand liquefa la cima di una collina lo fa direttamente con un flusso quindi (a mio modo di vedere) Mat sarebbe sopravvisuto, l'avremmo visto parecchio spaesato e sotto shock ma vivo e vegeto sulla parte rimanente di collina mentre i fulmini, in questo caso fenomeno naturale amplificato e controllato tramite il potere, Mat sarebbe (è) morto. -------------

Secondo me l'esempio di Mat Cauthon non è perfettamente attinente...
se Rand liquefa la collina, il flusso è diretto alla collina, non a Mat, che quindi come minimo Mat si fa una bella caduta e secondariamente rischia di essere ucciso dal fango (o lava!) ch costituisce la collina liquefatta...
Il medaglione protegge SOLO il portatore dall'Unico Potere... quindi se gli tiro degli oggetti con l'Unico Potere o se influenzo il terreno su cui cammina lo posso fare senza alcun problema...
Non sappiamo per certo che il medaglione protegga o meno dagli uomini che incanalano... in effetti c'e' solo un commento di Rand in merito alla "morte" di Mat a causa del medaglione che non l'aveva protetto a dovere, ma non è detto che corrisponda al vero...
